Bargain dyed films block heat mostly by darkening your space — and their infrared rejection is weak. Ceramic film uses nano-ceramic particles that absorb and block infrared heat at the glass — a little reflects, but the real work is IR blocking — all while staying optically clear — which is why it's the tier we recommend most.
Where it earns its keep fastest is the room you already avoid in the afternoon — a west-facing office, a sunroom, a storefront that bakes from 2pm on. That comfort difference is something you feel the same day the film goes on.

Do you do commercial glass as well as homes?
Yes — storefronts, offices, and commercial glass are a large part of what we do. Larger commercial elevations get their own volume pricing, quoted per elevation rather than per window.
Why won't you quote a price over the phone?
We will give you a realistic range on the phone, but not a final number. Ceramic film comes in several performance series, and pane size, glass type, and access all change install time. A number quoted blind is a number that moves later — we would rather measure, spec the right series, and put the real figure in writing before you commit to anything.
Is ceramic film safe on my dual-pane windows?
Usually — but not always, and this is where a real installer earns it. Ceramic works by absorbing infrared heat at the glass, and on certain dual-pane annealed windows that absorbed heat can over-stress the glass. Part of our quote is a film-to-glass compatibility check: if your windows aren't a match for ceramic, we'll tell you and spec a film that is.
Do you run seasonal promotions?
From time to time, yes — usually on solar film heading into the hot months. Promotions are dated and posted on this page while they run. If nothing is posted here, ask when you call and we'll tell you honestly whether anything is active.
