Built in the two counties we protect.
Armored Glass Solutions is the Shanahan family business. Founder Mike Shanahan has spent more than 20 years working Southern California glass — born and raised in Los Angeles, now based in Orange County, where his kids grew up. Those kids are grown and on the crew today: his daughter is our 3M™ certified DI-NOC™ installer, and his son is our certified Impact Security installer for DefenseLite® and BulletShield® systems.
The crew beyond the family isn't blood, but after this many years on ladders together, it might as well be. And Mike still trains on every new film and technique that enters the trade — it's how a 20-year shop stays on the front line of tinting. We've never chased awards or accolades. The only scoreboard we care about is the client who calls us back.
We run crews out of both Los Angeles and Orange County, which means the person who quotes your job and the crew that installs it are ours — no subcontracted badge-swapping, ever.
Our position in the market is simple: authorized where certification matters, independent everywhere else. We hold factory authorizations for DefenseLite®, BulletShield®, and 3M™ DI-NOC™ because those systems demand certified installation. For everything else — solar, security, privacy, decorative — we spec across every major manufacturer and show you the data sheets side by side.
